但是你需要一个可以帮助你处理申请后续事件的身处美国的朋友，当然如果你本人在美国那就更好啦！

Hoopla

指尖上的图书馆。
只需要一张图书馆电子卡，就可以借阅并享受有声书、电子书、漫画、电影、电视、杂志或音乐。

Hoopla is a digital borrowing service for libraries that provides access to audiobooks, ebooks, music, movies, magazines and tv shows. Borrow and enjoy all of this digital content on any of your personal devices, including iPads, iPhones, Android devices, Nooks, Kindle Fire, PC, AppleTV, Roku, FireTV and Chromecast.[1]
Hoopla, on the other hand, is a standard set of materials. So as long as your library uses Hoopla, you’ll have pretty much the same materials in your Hoopla account as anyone else anywhere in the country (this isn't 100% true, but close enough that most people won't see a difference between their Hoopla catalog and another library's Hoopla catalog).[1]

注册Hoopla账号需要一张图书馆电子卡，那如何拥有一张呢？

在浏览器上打开该网站申请e-card
注意需要科学上网，并且节点需要是美国（因为是洛杉矶公共图书馆），否则网站不会提供申请的功能。
填写注册信息
需要注意以下几点：
Home Address一栏需要真实的地址，因为"in order to keep your e-card active you must respond to instructions on the follow-up verification postcard sent to the address used in the registration"[2]
Telephone一栏也必须是真实的号码，你可以在互联网上获得一个真实的美国号码，在注册时不会让你填写验证码。
（本人在第一次注册时，没有注意到地址需要后续验证的信息，所以在一个月左右的时间，E-CARD就无法再正常使用）
❗❗❗将填写的信息截图记下，尤其是Telephone，最后四位会作为图书馆电子卡的PIN码，在登陆时用作凭证。
收到成功注册的邮件即说明注册成功，邮件中会给出你的e-card number。
在注册成功后再去注册Hoopla账号，跟着网站的指示一步一步注册就好。

在iPhone上使用Hoopla

Hoopla在中国的App Store上是没有的，需要切换其他国家的apple id，例如美国，这里不说明如何注册美国区的apple id，互联网上可以找到。
将iPhone的App Store切换到美国区，然后下载Hoopla即可。
